Since our founding in 1991, we here at The McClelland Financial Group have been involved in many community initiatives. The McClelland Financial Group shared values are simple…Giving and Doing.
Giving – Rob McClelland and Mike Connon both Senior Financial Advisors and Partners believe so strongly in community involvement, they not only practise this in their daily life but do everything they can to teach this generosity to the people around him.
Their kids for example, must give one third of their allowance to charity. This act of giving not only dominates their personal life, but their professional world as well. Although they cannot give to every organization that knocks on our door, they do give generously to their community of York Region.
Doing – Employees are the backbone of every company, and we are no different. Each one of our employees is actively involved in some sort of community initiative, from participating in the Sporting Life 10K run to volunteering in local community service programs. Last year The McClelland Financial Group also held a Toydrive to help the Chum Christmas Wish Foundation (which we will continue to do every year) in their fight to give all children a great Holiday Season. In the month of November, we ask our clients for their participation in this event, and they in turn respond with many toys and donations.
Here are other organizations where we have some community involvement.
